Dr. Crawford teaches introductory religion classes such as World Religions and Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. In addition to his role at Mercy, Dr. Crawford serves as a member of the clergy in a local congregation and is involved in interfaith work throughout the Rivertowns. His research interests include the role of wonder and beauty in spirituality; the purposes of houses of worship in modern society; and the Presbyterian roots of American democracy.
