Brian Haggerty is a climate change ecologist with Master’s degrees from University of Virginia and UC Santa Barbara. For 20 years he’s been recognized as an engaging and innovative university teacher in lecture, lab, field, museum, and online settings. He specializes in translating complex sciences into practical programs and curricula that inspire action and expand social mobility. His science and education initiatives support conservation & social impact organizations, government agencies, and K-16 schools. As Visiting Faculty in Biology at B´ÎÔª, Brian is advancing the environmental sciences program while preparing future leaders with sustainable, nature-based solutions to urgent socioeconomic challenges.
